Why you should upgrade your grill to an Otto Wilde

A very frequent question we get here - what is the point of upgrading, if it's not broken, don't break it right?

The problem with conventional grills is that you almost always run into the problem of an overdone, dry, steak experience.

It looks cool, and it's fun to crack open a beer at the bbq, and captain the ship - but when you munch into that steak - it's good, but it isn't steakhouse good.

The Otto Wilde Grill brings steakhouse quality steak to you at home, so you can enjoy the best steak has to offer - whenever you like.

But how?

The secret is in the temperature.

Using dual OverFire Burners™ at the top of the unit to directly heat the meat, eliminating the air-drying problem of conventional grills.

As we're grilling from above - we don't run into the problem of flare-ups or nasty charing.

A perfectly even crust on your steak is achieved with every use, that seals in juice and flavour - there's no room here for dry meat.

How long does it take to grill steak?

The efficiency of the Otto Wilde will have you coming back every night for steak. it's so easy to use, your prep time takes longer than grilling.

Here's how to use it:
  1. Add some water into the drip tray (makes for easier cleaning)
  2. Heat up the Otto to 800°C for about 3 minutes
  3. Place steak on the grill grate and grill for one minutes either side
  4. Leave to rest for about 5 minutes.

So once you have the grill heated up, steaks only need two minutes to grill perfectly.

This means that if you're entertaining or cooking en masse, the Otto Wilde Grill will work perfectly.

It may look small, but there's more than enough room for you to grill up two generous porterhouse steaks and then have a conveyor belt of grilled meat ready to be served.

It's portable size means that you can add it onto the back of your ute, or put it in its storage box and take with you on camping trips, picnics - you name it.
